Harley davidson dyna vibration problem. I hope this might be helpful to others who experience this. Ive tried with and without the screen as well. 2000 Harley Davidson FXDWG Dyna Wide Glide front end shakes when front brake applied HiPike1450 the biggest reason for this shaking problem is the condition of your rotors - the disc your brake pad clamps down on when you apply your brakes.
It definetly makes a growling noise from the primary side of the bike but the noise will stop when you pull in your clutch if its your inner primary bearing. Heres the fix for that Switchback vibe problem. Would appreciate any ideas since.
I read the service bulletin with interest. Come join the discussion about performance. As this has specifically to do with the Switchback exhaust and is a sticky I wont comment other than to say thanks for the link to the bulletin and its info on the front isolator alteration.

Joined Oct 24 2008. I recently posted to the Harley newsgroups with a vibration problem with my 97 FXDL Dyna Low Rider. A couple of interesting things came of this that readers with Dynas or FXRs might find of interest.
Temporarily remove this bolt completely. The vibration between 25k and 35k rpm on many but not all Switchbacks is a notoriously well known problem. On the bottom side of the muffler near the middle there is a bolt that attaches the muffler to the center of the support bracket.
